What is the difference between a brochure and a flyer?

There are four main differences between a flyer and brochure.

1. Orientation

Flyers are formatted in portrait orientation.  Brochures are formatted in landscape orientation.

2. Paper

Black and white flyers are printed on White 24# paper.  Full color flyers are printed on a high quality gloss paper.  Brochures are only available in full color, and they are printed on a premium 100# glossy paper.

3. Bleed

Flyers must maintain a 1/8"" margin on all 4 sides because they don't bleed to the edge of the page.  Brochures are a full bleed product.

4. Page Count

Flyers are 2 - 8 pages (the front and back of 1 - 4 sheets of paper).  Brochures are 2 pages (front and back of 1 sheet of paper).
