To ensure seamless integration between your Google Sheet and Click2Mail's CRM Hub, it's essential to format your spreadsheet correctly. This involves including specific columns with exact header names and understanding their purposes.
Required Columns
Your Google Sheet must contain the following three columns with the exact header names as specified:
-
C2M Status
-
Purpose: Indicates when a row is ready for processing by Click2Mail.
-
Action: Enter "READY FOR C2M" in this field for each row you want Click2Mail to process. This applies to both Google Drive Watch and Google Sheets Watch integrations.
-
-
C2M Result
-
Purpose: Displays the outcome of Click2Mail's processing for each row.
-
Action: This field is automatically updated by Click2Mail to indicate success or error during processing. For example, if additional funds are needed in your Click2Mail account, the request will fail until resolved.
-
-
c2m_uniqueID
-
Purpose: Serves as a unique identifier for each mailpiece.
-
Action: This field can be left blank for most users. If your CRM assigns a unique identifier for each mailpiece, enter it here. Ensure each ID is unique; otherwise, the submission will fail. If your CRM doesn't provide unique IDs, it's recommended to leave this field blank.
-
Note: The header names are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown above.
Example of Proper Formatting
In this example, the "C2M Status" column is set to "READY FOR C2M" for each row intended for processing. The "C2M Result" and "c2m_uniqueID" columns are initially left blank and will be managed by Click2Mail during processing.
Additional Tips
-
Data Accuracy: Ensure all other columns (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Address) contain accurate and complete information to prevent processing errors.
-
Consistent Formatting: Maintain consistent formatting throughout your spreadsheet to facilitate smooth integration.
-
Regular Updates: Regularly update the "C2M Status" column to reflect the current processing needs of each row.
By adhering to these formatting guidelines, you can ensure a smooth and efficient integration between your Google Sheet and Click2Mail's CRM Hub.
