Explain the Cart Total

Production + Postage = Total order cost. Most carts look something like this:

The production cost is listed on the first line. It's the unit price multiplied by the number of pieces in your mailing. Any quantity based discounts are reflected in the subtotal column.

Postage costs are listed on the next two lines. Mail that qualified for automation rate postage discounts will be listed first. This is postage to the standardized addresses on your mailing list. Unsorted pieces are listed next. This is postage for nonstandard addresses or pieces that don't qualify for automation rate postage discounts.

Applicable sales taxes are added to your cart total on the final checkout screen after you click Proceed to Checkout.
