Delivery Address Components and Format

All mail must have a delivery address. 

A simplified address has three lines:

- Recipient line

- Delivery address line

- City, state and ZIP or ZIP + 4 code

Example:

BUGS BUNNY

94 INDUSTRIAL DRIVE

TROY, VA 22974

Business addresses that include an attention line should be addressed as such:

- Attention line / Employee Name

- Business Name

- Delivery address line

- City, state and ZIP or ZIP + 4 code
